Valks grows with the community. You can suggest corrections, usage examples, translations or audio. Every suggestion is reviewed by the editors and is not published automatically.

How to suggest

Open any word in the dictionary and click “Help improve this entry” at the bottom of the card — “Report an error” or “Suggest an example”. The form prefills the word and current translation.

What you can suggest

• Report an error — in translation, spelling, example, source or search;
• Suggest an example — an Erzya sentence with a translation;
• Suggest a translation — refine or add a meaning (soon);
• Suggest audio — a native-speaker pronunciation recording (soon).

Suggestion statuses

• new — received, waiting for an editor;
• in review — being considered by the editors;
• needs clarification — details needed;
• checked by a native speaker — confirmed by a native Erzya speaker;
• accepted — enters the dictionary at the next build;
• rejected — not a fit.

Suggestions are not published immediately. Contacts are never published. Your name is shown only if you allow it.
